poloDesign is the creative home of Penny Olorenshaw.

After a varied career encompassing production and stage management for some of Canada’s leading dance organizations as well as teaching dance production, Penny ‘retired’ in 2001 and took an administrative position with a leading audio visual staging supplier. Naturally adept at learning new computer programs, she took on the challenge of looking after the company’s digital media - building an image library, updating and administering the company’s visual identity, and creating new ads and banners.

A comprehensive course at Toronto Image Works Institute (www.tiwi.ca) took Penny far beyond her initial fumbling about in Photoshop & Illustrator and introduced her to the wonders of InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Website design using Dreamweaver and presentation design with PowerPoint rounded out the seven month program and prepared Penny to handle challenges in a variety of media.

An amateur photographer, Penny loves to capture the magic of flowers and is fascinated by the natural world.
